Background and Rationale

The Faculty of Learning Sciences and Education, Thammasat University, received funding from the Power Development Fund, Energy Regulatory Commission, in 2020 to implement the Creative Learning Innovation for Clean Energy Project. The project aims to promote learning and understanding of electrical energy from the perspective of clean energy through “Learning Process Design,” with the goal of developing Energy Literacy skills among students and youth.

The project aims to develop the capacity of upper secondary and vocational education teachers to design and develop creative learning innovations that promote Energy Literacy among students and youth.

Objectives

  1. To support teachers in developing learning innovations that promote Energy Literacy among children and youth.
  2. To foster university students as change leaders who can advance knowledge of clean energy through the development of coaching skills, learning design skills, and energy-related knowledge for higher education students.
  3. To design and develop tools to support organizational planning and management of electrical energy use.
  4. To design learning processes that promote awareness of energy use among educational personnel and students, enabling schools and communities to serve as models for other schools and communities.
