Master of Education in Learning Innovation (Distance Learning Program / New Curriculum 2022)
The Faculty of Learning Sciences and Education launched the Master of Education in Learning Innovation (Distance Learning Program / New Curriculum 2022) in August 2023. The program develops leaders of learning change with deep critical and creative thinking skills, the ability to design and facilitate learning for learners of every age both in and outside the classroom and across local contexts, and the ability to synthesize and create educational innovation across many dimensions. Graduates can use English for research and communication, and integrate knowledge, skills, and practical wisdom to drive learning forward in schools and in Thai society. Graduates of this program become a new generation of teachers and learning professionals who can work across every sector of society.
This program exists to transform teachers from familiar, conventional roles into educators equipped to meet the needs of today's world and today's learners. The Faculty designed it for teachers, HR development professionals, and anyone interested in creating learning innovations that meet the needs of a diverse new generation of students, built around "four core disciplines" that provide a deep, well-rounded understanding of learning — preparing graduates to become "creators of the learning of the future."

The Master of Education in Learning Innovation was created to meet the learning needs of people in the digital age, giving learners interested in learning innovation the chance to develop 21st-century learning-management skills and gain additional knowledge and experience — studying at whatever time, place, and pace suits them, within the scope and activities designed for each course. Courses span learning technology and innovation, leadership and change skills for the digital age, and the integration of science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and the arts. The program's instructors bring diverse expertise from many fields, giving learners a well-rounded perspective that combines an understanding of humanity through the social sciences and humanities with scientific reasoning. Instructors don't just lecture on learning theory — they design varied online learning activities, including discussions, synchronous sessions, and asynchronous activities, so learners understand theory in practice and see it applied concretely.
Anyone who wants to develop the capacity for self-directed learning, sound judgment, analytical ability, leadership, and public communication — skills that are increasingly essential in both the domestic and international labor market, not only for learning-related careers but for professionals in any field preparing to learn new kinds of work. The workforce of the future will need people who can solve complex problems, think creatively, evaluate and make decisions well, and think flexibly. Meeting the demands of tomorrow's labor market also means cultivating a habit of continuous learning and consistent self-development, since the digital-age society is complex and constantly changing — a commitment to lifelong learning and skill development is essential, and a key factor in building a quality workforce for an innovation-driven economy.
