Background and Rationale
The Faculty of Learning Sciences and Education, Thammasat University, is committed to developing the country’s human resources to become creative thinkers and innovators through learning processes and the development of design thinking skills. This is achieved through the creation of “learning games,” enabling learners to fully explore and apply their ideas and skills. The process also aims to inspire and build knowledge and understanding of design thinking skills. Therefore, the THAMMASAT-BANPU Innovative Learning Program was initiated, with upper secondary school students and educational personnel as its primary target groups, as they are key contributors to the country’s future development.
Objectives
- To enable learners to develop “learning games” that promote design thinking skills and innovation.

- To generate knowledge about the development and application of “learning games.”
- To promote the sustainable and widespread use of “learning games” through networks of teachers and educational personnel, both within and outside the formal school system.
