Shining School Project is implemented by the Faculty of Learning Sciences and Education, Thammasat University, in collaboration with T.C. Pharmaceutical Industries Co., Ltd., under TCP Group, and the Office of the Basic Education Commission (OBEC), as the “Shining School Project: School Learning Ecosystem Development.”

The Shining School Project aims to contribute to the development of Thai education by supporting teachers and relevant educational personnel in transforming the design of teaching and learning. The project supports teachers in developing learning ecosystems that are appropriate to their school contexts and in becoming learning facilitators who design and implement Active Learning and Authentic Learning. It also promotes the development of learning materials, teamwork, and Professional Learning Community (PLC) networks. These efforts aim to serve as models for schools across the country and as an important mechanism for driving significant change in the Thai education system.

The Shining School Project was launched in 2021 and has continued under the name “Shining School Project: School Learning Ecosystem Development.” The project aims to develop Thai education in alignment with the contexts of communities, parents, schools, and stakeholders connected to each school, collectively referred to as the “learning ecosystem.” The project currently works with 10 schools across different areas throughout Thailand. Schools in the network participate in research and knowledge development processes to work toward their respective goals through four strategies:
